Please come and join us for the drum and dance class every Wednesday starting at 6:30pm. Details on Classes page. Watch this space for info about the next workshop. In the meantime, enjoy these pictures of Gbozé getting ready for Senin show last year. Reno thrilled to the beat of the drums and the energy of the dancing at this exciting event! Professionals from around the world shared their talent in a performance such as has not often been seen in this area. Watch for news of upcoming shows and workshops in 2010! We would like to encourage everyone to take advantage of the opportunity to experience the traditional rhythms and dances brought to us by those folks who grew up with them as part of their daily lives. The dances and rhythms all have a special significance in the lives of the villagers. Those people who attended this show were treated to an experience which has enriched their lives with a culture that has endured for hundreds of years. This is the next best thing to taking a trip to Africa herself.
